Antalya Metropolitan Municipality continues its environmental and public health activities throughout the city without slowing down. In this context, the teams carried out a large-scale disinfection activity against the breeding grounds of mosquitoes and similar vectors in and around Boğaçayı. In the operation organized to help citizens spend the summer months more comfortably, the spots where mosquito larvae lay were targeted.

Intense Fight with Special Equipment

Studies; It was carried out in reedy areas, puddles, canal environments and in all areas suitable for vector formation, accompanied by specially equipped vehicles and expert personnel. Within the scope of the fight, biocidal products licensed by the Ministry of Health and approved by the World Health Organization were preferred in order to protect public health.

Authorities stated that these activities, which are carried out in order to improve the quality of life of citizens and prevent vector-related negativities, will continue periodically.
