Kestel Became One Heart for the Red Crescent

A blood donation organization was held in the Kestel Primary School building in Alanya district, within the scope of the "There is a KAN'panya in My School" project, which was implemented in cooperation with Antalya Provincial Directorate of National Education and Turkish Red Crescent Western Mediterranean Regional Blood Center.

Education Community and Citizens United

School principals, teachers, parents and many citizens from across the district participated in the event organized within the framework of the social responsibility project. During the day-long organization, Turkish Red Crescent teams were accompanied by Alanya District National Education Project Officer Fazilet Dalkılınç, while School Principal Yılmaz Akın and the school administration hosted them.

94 Units of Blood Donation Collected

In the campaign held between 09.30 and 18.00 on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, a total of 120 applications were received and 94 units of blood donations were accepted. While each unit of blood donation contributed to saving the lives of 3 people, 3 saplings were donated to nature within the scope of the project. At the end of the event, all citizens who donated and education workers who contributed were thanked.
