Big Blow to Smugglers in Alanya and Surrounding Districts
A large number of criminal elements were seized during smuggling operations carried out by Antalya Police Department teams in Alanya, Muratpaşa, Aksu, Kepez and Manavgat districts.
Antalya Police Department Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch teams carried out comprehensive operations in the last week to ensure peace and security throughout the province.
Raid on Illegal Product Warehouses
Simultaneous raids were carried out on previously identified workplaces, warehouses and residences in Muratpaşa, Aksu, Kepez, Alanya and Manavgat districts. During the searches, tons of smuggled tobacco, thousands of macarons, smuggled cigarettes, fake alcohol and electronic cigarettes were seized.
Judicial Proceedings Started
Within the scope of the operations, judicial proceedings were taken against many suspects for the crimes of violating Law No. 6136 and Opposing Law No. 5607. While the guns and cartridges seized during the searches were confiscated, many people were caught and brought to justice in the investigations carried out against the wanted persons.
