Blow to Smugglers from Antalya Police

Antalya Provincial Police Department Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch teams have carried out comprehensive operations against smuggling activities throughout the province in the last week. A large number of illegal elements were seized during the work and raids carried out within the scope of the fight against crime and criminals.

Simultaneous Operation in Four Districts

As part of the work, simultaneous raids were carried out at addresses determined in Muratpaşa, Kepez, Alanya and Manavgat districts. During the searches carried out in workplaces, warehouses and residences, smuggled cigarettes, smuggled medicine and medical supplies, smuggled goods, smuggled electronic cigarettes and smuggled alcohol were seized.

Wanted Persons Caught

Judicial proceedings were taken against suspicious persons in the incidents within the scope of the crimes of Opposition to Law No. 6136 and Opposition to Law No. 5607. While a gun was seized during the searches, a person was arrested and sent to prison in the incident of extortion. On the other hand, the authorities reported that the suspects caught during the field studies carried out against the wanted persons were also referred to the judicial authorities.
