Antalya Took a Historical Step in the World of Local Government

Antalya was represented at the MITI Seoul Policy Sharing Forum held in Seoul, the capital city of South Korea. At the event, the city's vision of international education, capacity building and intercity cooperation was shared on a global scale.

Became the 5th Center in the World

With the ceremony held within the scope of the Forum, the process of Antalya becoming the MITI training center became official. With the signed agreement, Antalya became the 5th MITI center in the world of the Metropolis network, which includes more than 160 member cities and approximately 700 million people.

Sustainable Urban Transformation is Targeted

Through the new center established, it is aimed to increase the capacity of municipalities in the fields of climate action, project development, social equality, youth participation and sustainable urban transformation. The aim of the studies is to strengthen the sharing of knowledge, experience and projects between cities. Antalya Metropolitan Municipality officials plan to strengthen the global position of the city by benefiting from the experiences of different cities while sharing the city's experience internationally.
