Deputy Mayor Özdemir Welcomed the Female Mukhtars' Request for Anıtkabir

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Büşra Özdemir implemented her promise to visit Anıtkabir, which she made to female muhtars at the meeting held in Kaş within the scope of October 19 Mukhtars' Day. The Metropolitan Municipality, which took the request of female headmen from 19 districts of Antalya into the program in a short time, completed the trip organization.

They were sent off in front of the City Hall

Deputy Mayor Büşra Özdemir, who attended the farewell program held in front of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Service Building, sent the female headmen off to Ankara. Expressing that he was very pleased to fulfill the trip request, Özdemir emphasized the importance of the rights granted to women by the Republic.

Stating that it was possible for women to have a say in local governments thanks to Atatürk, Deputy Mayor Özdemir said, "Today, we sent them off in front of our municipality for the trip to Anıtkabir that we promised to our female muhtars on Mukhtars' Day. Today, our Ata, who paved the way for the right to vote and be elected, will be visited by our female muhtars who serve with this right. We are grateful to the Republic and Atatürk, who enabled us to have a say and decision as women. Good luck."

As part of the Ankara program, female headmen will visit Anıtkabir and appear before Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
