Emotional Farewell Dinner at Antalya Bureaucracy

Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin and his wife Ebru Şahin attended the farewell dinner organized for the commanders who completed their terms of duty and were assigned to new positions. Chief Public Prosecutor Fatih Kocaman, Provincial Police Chief Sabit Akın Zaimoğlu, Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Ahmet Kavukcu, SG Training and Education Commander Gürkan Erken and 3rd Infantry Training Brigade Commander Ayhan Ocak attended the program.

"National Service is Essential"

Governor Şahin thanked the commanders whose positions were changed within the scope of the August 2026 appointment decisions and emphasized that continuity in public service is essential. Stating in his speech that appointments are a natural part of state life, Şahin said that even if the positions change, the love of serving the nation will always continue.

Governor Şahin, who presented a plaque to Major General Kavukcu, who retired after nearly 40 years of service, for his contributions, noted that he believed that the commanders would continue their success in their new positions. The ceremony was completed with the plaque presentation and souvenir photo taking.
