Excitement of the Yoruk Festival at the Taurus Mountains Summit

The traditional festival held in the high parts of the Taurus Mountains brought together local residents and protocol members with a wide participation. İshaklı and Gevne Plateau Festival, which opened its doors for the 14th time this year, hosted the symbolic elements of Yoruk and Turkmen culture.

Broadly Participated Plateau Meeting

Alanya District Governor Şakir Öner Öztürk, Hadim District Governor Ali Emre Deniz, New Party Antalya Deputy Aykut Kaya and Alanya Deputy Mayor Murat Levent Koçak attended the organization held in the festival area. District Governor Öztürk visited the area tradesmen during the event and conveyed his wishes for good business to the regional tradesmen.

Transferring Cultural Heritage to the Future

District Governor Öztürk stated that keeping Yoruk and Turkmen traditions alive plays a critical role in terms of social memory and thanked the architects of the organization. While festival leader selection and various colorful events were organized within the scope of the program, the festival enthusiasm reached the highest level with the concert of artist Ender Balkır. The program ended after the thanks were given to İshaklı Neighborhood Headman Rasim Ocean and Neighborhood Association President Feyzullah Karadağ, who contributed to the organization.
