Helping Hand from the Sons of Religious Affairs in Fire Disaster

The fight against the forest fire, which started in Karaöz District of Aksu district of Antalya and spread to Kepez and Döşemealtı districts under the influence of the wind, continues. While extinguishing and cooling efforts in the region continue, aid efforts have been initiated to meet the needs of disaster victims and personnel. Humanitarian support is provided in the field with the organization carried out under the coordination of Antalya Provincial Mufti's Office and TDV Antalya Branch.

Solidarity Bridge in the Middle of the Flames

As part of the work, hot soup, water and ayran are offered to personnel and citizens working in fire zones. Provincial Deputy Mufti Ramazan Özgün Türkmen, who inspected the field together with TDV volunteers and religious officials, follows the needs on site.

Deputy Provincial Mufti Türkmen stated that the disaster deeply saddened everyone and stated that the state is on the alert with all its institutions in the field. Touching on the importance of being with the teams fighting the flames day and night, Türkmen emphasized that a glass of soup gives morale to the struggle under difficult conditions and stated that these difficult days will be left behind with the solidarity of the nation.
