Kızlarpınarı Women Are Taking Strong Steps into the Future
In the project organized in cooperation with Alanya Municipality, women residents of the neighborhood expanded their vision by receiving training in social, economic and digital literacy areas.
Alanya Municipality, Contemporary Life Support Association (ÇYDD) and Mother Child Education Foundation (AÇEV), has been completed. The final leg of the social development project, which aims to increase women and girls' access to information in the center of Alanya, was organized with the contributions of local government stakeholders in the city.
Women's Role in the Digital World was Discussed
The comprehensive training study, which aims to enable women to take a more active part in social, educational and economic life, was hosted by Kızlarpınarı Neighborhood Headman Zeynep Polat Gülçelik. While participants were raised awareness about digital literacy, methods of accessing basic information resources that would increase their quality of life were explained.
Local Government's Promise of Uninterrupted Support to Education
At the closing of the project, it was emphasized that social development and economic independence are possible with the empowerment of women and all institutions that contributed were thanked. It was stated that the local government, led by Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik, will uninterruptedly support such education and awareness-oriented vision projects that enable women's participation in social life in the coming period.
