Pre-Winter Road Work in Alanya Rural Area from Antalya Metropolitan Municipality

Antalya Metropolitan Municipality intensified road maintenance and repair works throughout the country and in Alanya in order to strengthen the transportation network on rural neighborhood roads and increase road comfort before the upcoming winter season.

Road Construction, Maintenance and Repair Department teams are working feverishly in rural Alanya to prevent roads from being damaged during possible floods and to avoid transportation problems during the winter months.

Infrastructure is being Strengthened in Rural Neighborhoods

As part of the work, shrinkage was applied to the points where floods may occur on the Yeşilöz District group road. While ditch cleaning is carried out on the roads of Uğurlu and Yalçı neighborhoods, stone wall construction and maintenance and repair works are continuing at the points where collapses occur.

Road Construction Maintenance and Repair Department Alanya teams placed box boxes in the stream on the Yalçı District road, which caused disruptions in transportation due to floods and landslides in rainy weather. The stream bed was opened with work machines, the box boxes were positioned one by one and the road was made safer. In addition, cleaning, filling, widening, stone filling and wall works are carried out meticulously in the section of the Yalçı District group road that was damaged due to landslides and collapses during the winter months.
