School Gardens Became a Lifeline in Alanya
Within the scope of the "There is a CANpan at My School" project, 83 units of blood were donated at the event held in Şükrü Mülazımoğlu, giving hope to dozens of lives.
Antalya The Alanya leg of the "There is a CANpan in My School" project, which was implemented between the Provincial Directorate of National Education and the Turkish Red Crescent Western Mediterranean Regional Blood Center, witnessed a great example of solidarity. At the event held in Şükrü Mülazımoğlu, the education community and citizens literally competed to donate blood. In the work carried out during working hours on Monday, May 4, 2026, 104 applications were received and 83 units of blood donations were accepted.
Lives Saved with Record Participation
School principals, teachers and many parents supported the project, which aims to increase social responsibility awareness. During the day-long organization, Alanya District National Education Project Officer Fazilet Dalkılınç and School Principal Murat Ergin Gözütok accompanied the Red Crescent teams. It was emphasized that each unit donation not only saves the lives of three people, but also returns to nature as three saplings.
Great Support to Nature and Humans
It was observed that such activities carried out under the coordination ofAlanya District Director of National Education Yusuf Yılmaz reinforced the culture of cooperation in the district. The campaign, which both contributes to health stocks and supports afforestation activities, once again proved the social sensitivity in the region.
