A Youthful Touch to the Climate Policy of the Future
Students in thirty provinces will find solutions to environmental problems with the youth climate workshops to be held within the scope of COP31 hosted by Türkiye.
The Ministry of National Education is launching a comprehensive study in thirty provinces to raise young people's awareness of climate change and sustainable development. With the "Youth Climate Workshop" projects implemented in line with the preparations for the COP31 summit, it is aimed for students to analyze local climate crises with scientific data.
Solutions will be searched in ten different themes
Activities within the scope of the workshop; It will be carried out under ten thematic headings, from climate finance to renewable energy, from water ecosystems to sustainable cities. In organizations across Türkiye, students will develop applicable action plans in the fields of nature-based solutions and circular economy.
Young Ideas for a Sustainable Future
The program aims to make strategic sectors such as agriculture, food systems, cultural heritage and tourism resilient to climate risks. Young people's policy suggestions will directly guide decision-makers in the fight against climate change.
