Alanya Young People in Türkiye Science Chair

Alanya students of Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Secondary School have achieved a significant success throughout Turkey with their scientific projects.

Great Rank in the National Competition

The “Alaiye Blue Home” project, prepared under the consultancy of Technology and Design Teacher Alpaslan Akbaş, came third in Turkey in the TÜBİTAK 2204-B Secondary School Students Research Projects Competition. The students who implemented the project, Ali Tuna Değirmen, Buğlem Ay and Yiğit Şahin, made the people of Alanya proud with this degree they achieved.

Teachers' Dedication and the Secret of Success

One of the architects of success, Formator Teacher Mehmet Pişkin and Mathematics Teacher Erkin Şahin were also appreciated for the support they gave to the students throughout the process. School Principal Mustafa Adıbelli, in his statement about the degree obtained, stated that they, as a school, felt great joy. Adıbelli said, "I would like to thank all our teachers and students who contributed, especially our project consultant teacher. This is the best indicator of success, determination and hard work." This success beyond borders has once again proven the school's quality of education and the scientific potential of its students in the national arena.
