Alanya Youth Met with the Business World

The Sector-Student Meeting, which has become a tradition and organized by Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ), brought together thousands of young people with the leading names of the business world. In the career-oriented event, students had the opportunity to evaluate internship and job opportunities directly with dozens of sector representatives. More than 70 institutions participated in the giant organization held on April 15-16, 2026, under the leadership of ALKÜ and ALTSO.

Intense Participation in the Opening Ceremony

To the opening ceremony held in the Kestel Campus Amphitheater area; Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) Deputy Chairman Dr. Deniz Güçer, ALTSO official Prof. Dr. Serdar Bulut, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oğuz Nebioğlu, Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD) Alanya Branch President Celil Kara, Alanya Deputy Mayor Faruk Konukçu and ALKÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kılıç attended. During the event, students visited the stands set up, signed preliminary contracts with various companies and took the first step towards their career goals.

Experts Shared Their Experiences

On the second day of the program, guests who are experts in their fields addressed the participants with 20 different seminars. Dr. Deniz Güçer shared his experiences in the session organized with the contributions of Aytemiz; Bünyamin Meydan from the air conditioning sector, Atlas Mutuel Regional Director İsmail İsmetoğlu, Bursa Real Estate Chamber President Erdal Çelebi, social worker Yusuf Tanrıverdi, architects Rumeysa Toprak and Mimmen Grup owner made speeches Kerim Ismık. In conferences in many fields from technology to health, Özgür Öcal and Erkin Gül from DİA company, MÜSİAD managers Mehmet Miraç Selçuk and Hasan Ahlatcı, GM Ar-Ge official Güzin Metin, glass artist Hamit Paşaoğlu, İŞKUR official Sabahattin Kayaalp, Retro company Gökçen Gökçe, Zafer Cengiz from Armada Bilişim within the scope of TEKMER, Okan Zincirci from ZKM, Ayberk Kafadar from Ayyıldız, ANSAD delegation, informatics Murat Keskin and Himay Hati architects met with young people. The intense program was completed with the alumni session moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yavuz Uysal, where Sıla Topakkaya, Arzu Uslu, Batuhan Çelik and Duygu Mert talked about their experiences.

Education Continues Intertwined with the Sector

ALKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan underlined that they prepare young people not only with academic knowledge but also with sectoral dynamics.
