Alanya Youth's Victory on Stage Extends to Türkiye Finals

Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) students continue to achieve success beyond regional borders with their performances in the field of culture and arts. "How are you?", performed on stage by the University's Theater Group. After coming first in the Antalya provincial finals, the play named became the champion in the 11th Youth Culture and Art Competitions Mediterranean Regional Finals organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the city of Osmaniye. Following this important result, the team qualified to perform in the Türkiye semi-finals.

Performance with Strong Social Message Received a Standing Applause

The play deals with social pressures, repressed emotions and modern man's anxiety about appearance; It received great appreciation from the audience with its stage language and powerful narration. While the director of the play was Süleyman Türkyılmaz, the text and stage design were created through a collective work. During the disciplined preparation process, which lasted approximately six months, the community president Leyla Çetin and the actor Kerim Özdemir stood out with their contributions to the process. On the other hand, the play was staged in its long version within the scope of Muş Alparslan University Theater Days. Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Alican watched the game and personally thanked the team.

The group returned first in the regional finals, with their advisor Prof. Dr. Serdar Bulut together with ALKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. He visited Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan in his office. Stating that the effort and team spirit of the students is admirable, Türkdoğan expressed his belief that the team will represent the university in the best way in the Turkey semi-finals.
