Critical Climate Summit for COP31 at Alanya University

A strategic evaluation meeting was held at Alanya University within the scope of preparations for the 31st United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP31), which will be held in Antalya between 9-20 November 2026. The university administration, which aims to produce scientific solutions against the global climate crisis, has determined its working map in order to actively contribute to the conference process.

Sustainable Projects and Working Areas were Discussed

Acting in line with the relevant letter of the Presidency of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), the institution discussed the project development processes to be carried out within the campus. Within the scope of the meeting, academic project proposals that could be prepared in the fields of climate change, sustainable development, clean energy, green transformation and environmental technologies were evaluated in detail.

National and International Collaborations are Targeted

In addition, national and international cooperation opportunities that could be implemented throughout the process were emphasized. Alanya University aims to contribute to the COP31 process at the highest level with its scientific knowledge and innovative projects.
