Young Dentists Took the First Step into the Profession

Antalya Bilim University Faculty of Dentistry 2025-2026 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held with great enthusiasm. 76 young students who successfully completed the academic process took the pride of taking the first step into the medical profession by receiving their graduation certificates. The graduation ceremony held at Antalya Bilim University Conference Hall was attended by Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin, as well as important names from the city protocol, academicians, students and families.

Addressing young physicians and participants at the ceremony, Governor Şahin emphasized that the most important element that keeps people alive are the permanent works they leave behind. Recalling the contributions of the deceased founding dean to the faculty, Şahin said, "If you live with your works, you will make your life and sphere of influence much longer. Otherwise, our body, which consists of flesh and bones, does not have much importance. Our late Dr. İsmail Bülent Süzer also achieved this in his life; Antalya Science "He laid the foundations of an educational institution that has accomplished very successful works, such as the Faculty of Dentistry of the University, and had the pleasure of seeing the first graduates of the faculty. Governor Şahin stated that young doctors have successfully passed a very important turning point in their life journey and gave advice to graduates who will start their professional lives. The important thing in this whole process is to never compromise on honesty, justice, your love for your profession and your belief in your country. As long as you work by adhering to these principles, the sacrifices of both your families who work for you and our nation will not be in vain. Best of luck to each of you in this journey of life." After the opening speeches were completed, Antalya Bilim University Rector Prof. Dr. Semih Ekercin presented a plaque of appreciation to Governor Şahin in memory of the ceremony. In the following parts of the program, the successful students who graduated from the faculty with honors were presented with plaques and certificates of success by Governor Şahin, Döşemealtı District Governor Ünal Çakıcı, Provincial Police Chief Dr. Sabit Akın Zaimoğlu and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Presented by Behram Tuncel.
