Alanya Business World's Foreign Exchange Demand Resolved

Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO) President Eray Erdem announced that the foreign exchange conversion support period for exporting and tourism companies has been extended until 31 January 2027, in line with the notification published in the Official Gazette dated 1 August 2026. This regulation was welcomed by tourism businesses and export companies in the region.

Sector's Expectations Met

Evaluating the decision, ALTSO President Erdem stated that an important and appropriate decision was taken on behalf of the business world. Emphasizing that they forwarded the demands from business people to the relevant authorities on every platform, Erdem expressed their satisfaction that these efforts yielded results. It was stated that continuing this support is a positive step for the tourism sector and exporters.

Bureaucratic Burden Warning

Also making some warnings for the success of the application, Erdem pointed out that it is of great importance to implement the new conditions without creating an additional bureaucratic burden on businesses. It was emphasized that tourism businesses' ability to benefit from this support easily, quickly and effectively will ensure that the application achieves its main purpose.
