ALTSO Delegation Focused on Azerbaijan Market
The ALTSO delegation held high-level contacts in Azerbaijan to evaluate new commercial cooperation and investment opportunities.
Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a comprehensive business trip to the sister country upon the invitation from Azerbaijan's Turkey Trade Representation. The delegation consisting of ALTSO Chairman of the Board Eray Erdem, council members and business people from Alanya held critical meetings in the capital Baku in the first days of the contacts. On the second day of the visit, the delegation met with Ziya Hacılı, Secretary General of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Azerbaijan; He discussed the current potential in the agriculture, industry, construction and textile sectors. At the meeting held with the Chief Commercial Counselor of the Baku Embassy of the Republic of Turkey Murat Yaman and the Commercial Counselor who will take over the duty Nevzat Bozkurt, detailed presentations were made about the bureaucratic conveniences and tax exemptions provided to Turkish investors.
Critical Meetings for Economic Cooperation
In the high-level meeting with Deputy Minister of Economy Anar Akhundov, 100 percent tax exemption and access to the market of 350 million people in the Karabakh region were evaluated. Within the scope of the contacts, it was aimed to increase the trade volume between the two countries with ATIB President Mursal Rustamov and his management. President Erdem emphasized that bringing together the experience of the Alanya business world in the field of tourism and construction with Azerbaijan will provide mutual gain.
