ALTSO Updated Work Permit Documents

With the official letter sent by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) to the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, it was reported that a new era has been entered in work permit documents. As a result of the work carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Commerce, the security level of the documents was maximized and a protection shield against forgery was created.

New Design with High Security in Documents

Within the scope of the regulation, up-to-date technologies used in high-security documents were also integrated into work permit cards. The printing, personalization, and distribution processes of the new designed permits were officially launched as of March 2026. This step is aimed to increase document security in the business world and prevent abuses.

Instant Verification Opportunity with QR Code

New generation work permits have been harmonized with digital infrastructure. As with existing applications, the accuracy of the new cards can be checked via the QR code on it or on the official website. The validity of the documents can be confirmed instantly with the transactions to be made through the "Foreigners' Work Permit, Work Permit Exemption and Turquoise Card Information Inquiry System". On the other hand, it was announced that the old-style work permits, which were previously issued and whose validity period has not yet expired, will continue to be used until the end of the period.
