Common Sense Emphasis for Alanya Economy in the ALTSO Assembly

Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry April ordinary assembly meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Assembly President Mehmet Kural. At the meeting where Antalya Treasurer İlhan Karayılan attended as a guest, the city's commercial life and future projects were discussed. Speaking at the meeting, Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Eray Erdem informed the council members about the activities carried out.

Agricultural Development and Geographical Indication Move

Stating that they are working to carry the city's local values to the international dimension, Mayor Erdem drew attention to the importance of the unity achieved at the YOREX Local Products Fair. Announcing that the European Union geographical indication application has been made for the Alanya carob, Erdem stated that they aim to increase the efficiency of production with training programs for producers and sapling distribution ceremonies in order to strengthen the agricultural sector.

Access to Finance and Corporate Cooperation

Stressing that initiatives are continuing regarding access to finance, which is one of the biggest problems of the business world, President Erdem stated that they are following the credit supports for the tourism and export sectors. Antalya Treasurer Karayılan, who attended the meeting, answered the members' questions by touching on the importance of communication between the public and the business world. Erdem stated that corporate collaborations play a key role in solving the problems of the members and thanked Karayılan for his participation.
