Postponement Decision Giving Taxi Traders Breathe

The timetable has been extended in the calendar that came into force within the scope of the Tax Procedure Law General Communiqué No. 591 and regulates the transition of taxpayers who transport passengers by taxi to new generation devices. In line with the regulation published in the Official Gazette, the deadline valid for all taxi drivers, including those determined through the simple procedure, has been postponed.

Deadline Postponed to November

According to the time extension announcement published by the Revenue Administration, the date of September 1, 2026, which is included in the 12th article of the Communiqué and requires the purchase and use of approved devices, has been redetermined as November 16, 2026, following the evaluations. Thus, taxi drivers operating throughout Alanya were given additional time to complete their technical infrastructure and supply processes.

Application Principles are Protected

Until the new determined date, taxpayers must obtain devices with technical specifications approved by the Ministry. With the decision announced in the digital environment, it is aimed to prevent tradesmen from suffering.
