Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Boils 40 Thousand Boilers

Antalya Büyüksehir Municipality is organizing a huge organization throughout the city in order to keep alive the traditions of the Month of Muharram, which is the symbol of unity, solidarity and sharing. In addition to the central soup kitchen operating within the Metropolitan Municipality, giant pots started to boil in Manavgat and Alanya soup kitchens. Ashuras prepared with ingredients carefully selected by master chefs will be packaged under hygienic conditions and shipped to distribution points. These treats, which are the best example of the culture of sharing, will be warmly served to citizens all over the city.

District by District Catering Calendar Has Been Clarified

A detailed distribution calendar was prepared to ensure that no point was missed in the city known for its wide geographical structure. According to the prepared program, the first stop of the refreshments will be Kumluca Square on Friday, June 26, at 11.00. Then on June 27, Finike, on June 29, Muratpaşa by the pool opposite Kışlahan Çarşı, and on June 30, Aksu, Serik and Refreshments will be served to citizens in Manavgat districts.

Within the program, which will continue in the first days of July, distribution will continue in front of Konyaaltı on July 1st, and in front of Kepez Özdilekpark Shopping Mall on July 2nd. The refreshments at the Alanya Friday Market, which is attended by tradesmen and citizens in the region intensively, will start at 11.00 on Friday, July 3. On the same day, boilers will be installed for sharing in the districts of Demre, Kaş and Gündoğmuş. The program will continue until mid-July in Akseki, Kemer, Korkuteli, Döşemealtı, Gazipaşa, İbradı and finally will be completed with refreshments to be held in Elmalı district on July 13.
