MÜSİAD Alanya Says Family Against Violence

The attacks targeting students and educators in schools in Siverek Şanlıurfa and Onikişubat districts of Kahramanmaraş were strongly condemned by the MÜSİAD Alanya. In the statement, it was stated that the violent mention of education centers is a sign of a serious erosion in the social fabric, and it was emphasized that the issue should be addressed not only with police measures, but also with radical and permanent solutions.

Family as the Center of the Solution

It was stated that the institution of family, which is the atomic nucleus of society, is the first and strongest wall built between the individual and violence. In the statement, it was pointed out that the weakening of family ties, the loss of communication between generations and the spiritual emptiness lie at the root of the tragedies, and it was noted that a healthy family structure is the first school where compassion, justice and responsibility are instilled.

Action Plan to Protect the Future

Among the 5-item solution proposals offered by MÜSİAD Alanya; "Modern Media Literacy" trainings for parents should be compulsory and values education should be transferred within the family beyond the school curriculum. In addition, it was declared that guidance services should be family-oriented, legal responsibilities against individual armament should be aggravated, and social projects that strengthen family communication should be encouraged in cooperation with local governments.
