Technological Breakthrough for the Future of Coastal Cities

In order to reduce the negative effects of the climate crisis on sensitive coastal cities and to produce technological solutions, Antalya bureaucracy and academics came together in an important organization. Antalya Governorship Within the scope of the project carried out by the European Union and Foreign Relations Bureau, the applications of geographical artificial intelligence technologies in the fields of disaster management and sustainability were conveyed to the participants in practice, accompanied by experts.

Artificial Intelligence Training from an International Expert

The training process, supported within the scope of the Technical Expert Services Program, was completed with the participation of many project experts from different disciplines. During the five-day program, participants had the opportunity to experience innovative technology models in the fight against the climate crisis. In the courses given by international data science expert Maquette TOUR, practical applications were carried out that will increase the institutional capacities of the participants and pave the way for them to develop new projects. At the end of the training, participation certificates were presented to those who were successful.

Future Project Goals

Antalya Deputy Governor Tahsin Aksu and his accompanying delegation, is the first and only study in Türkiye that directly combines disasters caused by the climate crisis with geographical artificial intelligence. Following the organization, which attracted great interest from city components, it is aimed to transform the innovative project ideas that emerge into national and international grant programs.
