Alanya Trains New Referees of the Chess World

The three-day chess candidate referee course organized by TSF in Alanya district started at the youth center. News text: Chess Candidate Referee Course organized by Turkish Chess Federation (TSF) in Alanya district, started with the intense participation of the sports community. The training program, which aims to improve the quality of local sports activities and strengthen the referee staff, has officially started within the Alanya Youth Center. This special organization, in which a total of 45 trainees participated, is of great importance in terms of managing chess tournaments in the region at professional standards. Three-Day Intensive Training Marathon The organization, which will contribute to the development of candidate referees, will continue with an uninterrupted program for three days. During the course, participants will be given comprehensive lessons in theoretical and practical areas such as chess game rules, tournament systems, referee principles and competition regulations. The increasing interest in chess sports throughout Alanya is the main driving force in organizing such qualified trainings. Future Referees Will Take the Exam After completion of the training process, trainees will be subjected to a theoretical evaluation exam within the framework of the criteria determined by the federation. Candidates who are successful in the exam will be officially entitled to receive the title of candidate referee.
