Full Support from Antalya to Giant Steps in Korkuteli

Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin attended the opening ceremonies of the Stray Animals Natural Habitat, which was brought to the district by Korkuteli Municipality, and the Bright Future Day Care Center, which will contribute to the educational and social development of children. In addition to Governor Şahin, Deputy Mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Hasan Akkoyun, Korkuteli District Governor Onur Yılmazer, Korkuteli Mayor Saniye Caran, institution officials, representatives of political parties and non-governmental organizations and many citizens attended the ceremony.

Industry and Education Investments Emphasized

Speaking at the opening, Governor Şahin stated that the infrastructure works of Korkuteli Organized Industrial Zone have been largely completed and that the first factories are ready to start production within a few months. Stating that the solution to the need for industrial parcels in the district was carried out with an environmentally friendly approach, Governor Şahin emphasized that the district, which meets approximately half of Türkiye in mushroom production, has a great economic potential. Referring to the importance of the day care center with a capacity of 60 children, which supports women's participation in the workforce, Governor Şahin stated that every investment made in the first six years of development of children is an investment in the future. Following the speeches, the opening ribbon was cut and the facilities were inspected together with the protocol members.

Modern Living Space for Stray Animals

Talking about the management of stray animals at the opening of the Stray Animals Natural Habitat Area, Governor Şahin stated that animal welfare, food access and veterinary services will be improved within the framework of the Presidential instructions and the studies carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Drawing attention to the foundation culture and love of animals of the Turkish civilization in the past, Governor Şahin noted that they will continue to work in cooperation with animal protection associations.
