ALKÜ Stepped Up a Gear in the Academy

Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) increased the number of programs in the field of postgraduate education from 78 to 85 with 5 doctoral and 2 thesis master's programs approved by YÖK. The university continues its development in scientific and project fields with its qualified academic staff and research-oriented education approach.

Newly Opened Programs

There were previously 55 master's programs with thesis, 13 master's programs without thesis and 10 doctoral programs within the ALKÜ Graduate Education Institute. New approved doctoral programs were opened in the branches of Guidance and Psychological Counselling, Finance, Food Engineering, Physical Education and Sports and Anatomy. In the field of master's degree with thesis, Biology and Physics departments were included in the process. It is aimed to increase scientific research capacity by adding new disciplines.

Research University Goal

Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan stated that they continue their education and training activities with the aim of increasing quality and scientific production capacity. Emphasizing that increasing the number of programs to 85 will contribute to academic development, Türkdoğan thanked YÖK President Prof. for their support. Dr. He thanked Erol Özvar and his members and stated that they will continue their work towards the goal of becoming a research university.
