Alanya Belediyespor management and men's volleyball team technical staff met with local and national press representatives before the new season. At the meeting, the club's restructuring process, sports tourism goals, international organizations and the volleyball team's preparations for the new season were discussed comprehensively.

International Moves in Sports Tourism

Alanya Belediyespor Club President Faruk Konukçu announced that the club has signed 22 international organizations so far in order to contribute to the city's economy and sports tourism. Stating that as a result of the negotiations held in Portugal, the World Beach Football Club Championship was brought to Alanya for three years, club president Konukçu stated that the first tournament will be held between 26 October - 1 November 2026. In addition, it was shared that the International Beach Sports Center in the city has been registered as a Center of Excellence by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), and this is of great importance for the goals of training athletes.

Huge Investment in Infrastructure and Youth

At the meeting, where the efforts to strengthen the corporate structure of the club were touched upon, it was stated that the total corporate income reached 50-55 million lira annually. It was stated that the monthly income of sports schools increased to 2 million liras, and with a portion of the budget obtained, approximately 500 children in need of financial support were provided with free sports opportunities, including clothes. It was noted that more than 40 teams applied for the 1st Alanya Municipality Neighborhood Tournament, which will be held under the name of Ali Nazım Köseoğlu Season, in order to keep the neighborhood culture alive within the scope of social responsibility projects.

Young Team and Sustainable Success in Volleyball

ON Hotels Alanya Belediyespor Men's Volleyball A Team Head Coach Serkan Oğuz emphasized that he will start his sixth season in the club and evaluated the new squad structure in the Efeler League. Head coach Oğuz stated that they formed a young, confident and challenging team with an average age of 24.7 with the lessons learned from the last season, and that they conducted a joint camp with Ziraat Bankkart during the preparation process. While drawing attention to the importance of infrastructure works, it was announced that not only popularizing volleyball but also increasing the number of athletes from Alanya in the A team squad in the coming years is among the biggest goals.
