Alanya Technical teams of the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry continue their inspection work on fertilizer dealers operating throughout the district within the scope of the Regulation on Market Surveillance and Control of Fertilizers Used in Agriculture. In the controls carried out throughout the year in line with the Fertilizer Inspection Program, the compliance with the legislation, label information and quality standards of the products put on the market are carefully examined.

Fake and Adulterated Products Are Not Allowed

It was reported that the main purpose of the inspections was to prevent fake, imitation, adulteration and underhanded production. Aiming to prevent unfair competition and ensure that farmers have access to reliable agricultural inputs, the teams take samples from products they deem suspicious and send them for laboratory analysis.

Rights of Producers and Consumers are Protected

The reliability of fertilizers, which have a critical role in terms of agricultural productivity and product quality, both prevents grievances for producers and preserves the quality of the food reaching the consumer. Alanya District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry officials stated that the market surveillance and control activities carried out in the field will continue determinedly throughout the year within the determined schedule.
