Giant Avocado Made Mehmet Gaparoğlu Smile

The city's heaviest avocado was chosen as part of the 5th International Alanya Tropical Fruit Festival organized by Alanya Municipality. Giant avocados, which stood out with their abundance in the competition that attracted great interest from producers, were weighed by the jury on a sensitive scale. After difficult evaluations, Mehmet Gaparoğlu, the owner of the 679 gram giant avocado, took the first place.

Record Excitement in Fertile Lands

In the competition, other producers also competed fiercely with the products they grew. Within the scope of the competition, Emrah Ünal took second place with his avocado weighing 584 grams, while Ahmet Dalabasmaz came third with his product weighing 530 grams. While the producers who were ranked were congratulated, all farmers who contributed to the soil of Alanya were thanked.
