Göktepe Gave a Date for the New State

Alanya Chamber of Agriculture President Tahir Göktepe visited the new market complex, the construction of which was completed, together with the regional headmen and producers. Making a statement after the examinations, Göktepe emphasized that the facility has been physically completed at a hundred percent rate and that official processes should now be accelerated.

Emphasis on National Wealth and Economic Value

Stating that Alanya district has a great potential in terms of greenhouse agriculture, banana and tropical product diversity, Tahir Göktepe stated that the current state of affairs is fragmented and small, restricting trade and exports. Reminding that the project, the first digging of which was hit about 12 years ago and intensive work has been carried out for 8 years, is a national wealth, Göktepe drew attention to the importance of putting this investment into the service of the producer as soon as possible.

Opening Expectation in October

Stating that the common demand of the producers is to transition to the new state in the fall season of 2026, Mayor Göktepe called on the officials of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality. Göktepe, who wants the legislation and official correspondence to be completed quickly and the tender processes to be completed, stated that the struggle will continue for the start of trade in the new market complex as of October. Within the scope of the visit, consultations were held with the former mayor Nurettin Emişbeleni and regional headmen.
