Alanya Municipality's Holiday Shift Made Everyone Smile

Alanya Municipality Cleaning Affairs Directorate carried out a comprehensive work throughout the city during the nine-day Eid al-Adha holiday. The teams provided uninterrupted service on a 24-hour basis so that citizens could enjoy the holiday in a healthy environment. As a result of ongoing work in rural and plateau regions as well as central neighborhoods, a total of 10 thousand 578 tons of waste, 10 thousand 18 tons of domestic waste and 559 tons of packaging, were collected and directed to disposal facilities.

The teams went to the field with modern vehicles and equipment and worked feverishly on the streets of Alanya throughout the holiday. Municipal officials, who intervened quickly against the increasing amount of waste due to the intensity of tourism, made a great contribution to the protection of urban aesthetics and the environment.
