Alanya People Send Off Pilgrim Candidates with Prayers

With the organization of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, a special farewell ceremony is being held for the pilgrim candidates who are part of the Antalya 2nd group to perform the 2026 pilgrimage. Citizens who will go to the holy lands from Alanya and Gazipaşa districts will set off accompanied by prayers with a spiritual program to be held at the weekend.

Details of the Farewell Ceremony Have Been Announced

For the candidates who will go on pilgrimage with normal accommodation type, a farewell program will be held in front of Emine Özmüftüoğlu Mosque after the noon prayer on Saturday, May 2, 2026. In the convoy, which will include a total of 73 people, there are 66 pilgrim candidates from the Alanya region and 7 pilgrim candidates from the Gazipaşa region. All the people of the region were invited to this spiritual meeting.
