Alanya People Will Breathe Clean During the Eid

Alanya Municipality Cleaning Affairs Directorate completed an intensive preparation process throughout the city before Eid al-Adha. In order for citizens to spend the holiday in a healthy and peaceful environment, comprehensive cleaning works were carried out in all regions from east to west. While the needs of the sacrificial slaughtering areas were met, containers were placed at designated points for the regular collection of waste.

Teams on Field for Nine Days

A special work plan has been created to avoid any disruption in cleaning services during the holiday. Cleaning Affairs Directorate teams will be on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the 9-day holiday. Hygiene inspections will continue uninterruptedly, especially in sacrificial slaughter areas and areas where intensive use is anticipated.

A Call to Sensitivity from Director Demir

Warning about environmental cleaning, Alanya Municipality Cleaning Affairs Manager Adem Demir drew attention to the effects of waste on human health. Demir stated that sacrificial waste could cause environmental pollution and bad odors, and emphasized that these wastes should never be left in open areas. Expressing that they expect support from citizens, Demir reminded that waste should be bagged and thrown into garbage containers. In addition, it was stated that citizens who wish can deliver their waste directly to the Cleaning Works Waste Transfer Center on the Gendarmerie Station in the Tosmur District.
