Alanya The Voice of Youth Will Rise on May 19

Alanya City Council Youth Assembly Executive Board came together under the direction of Mayor Kazım Arı to plan the 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day events. While the details of the celebration programs were discussed at the meeting, important decisions were taken to announce the problems and expectations of young people in the city.

Youth Manifesto is Being Prepared

At the meeting, it was emphasized that May 19 is not just a day of celebration, but an important ground where young people can express their demands for the city. In this context, it was decided to prepare a comprehensive Youth Manifesto that will include the opinions of young people living in Alanya on issues such as education, employment, housing, social life and culture-art. With the declaration to be prepared, it is aimed to make young people more active and visible in decision-making processes and to give the city a youth-friendly identity.

Duty Distribution Was Made for the Lantern Regiment

The traditional Lantern Procession program to be held within the framework of the celebrations was also discussed. Members of the Youth Council undertook the coordination process and distributed tasks regarding field guidance to ensure that the march was organized and enthusiastic. Making evaluations at the meeting, President Arı stated that young people will celebrate May 19 not only by watching, but also by personally embracing and organizing. Arı underlined that young people will continue to work as active stakeholders who address problems with common sense and contribute to the future of the city.
