During the meticulous field inspections carried out by the teams, a vehicle whose transportation conditions were not suitable and did not meet hygiene standards was stopped. During detailed examinations, approximately 300 kilograms of red meat products of unknown origin and without an invoice were detected. These products, which directly threatened public health, were immediately confiscated by the police teams.

Destroyed with Coordinated Work

The confiscated smuggled red meat was completely destroyed in a coordinated effort, under the supervision of the District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry experts, in a way that would not harm human health. Alanya Municipality officials stated that the inspections carried out to protect food safety and hygiene standards in the district will be continued with determination and that the health of citizens will never be allowed to be tampered with.
