Ashura Abundance Made People Smile in Alanya
Alanya Municipality offered traditional ashura to the citizens at the Friday Market and to its staff in the service building on the occasion of Muharram.
Alanya Municipality organized ashoura treats for citizens within the scope of Muharram month events in order to keep the culture of sharing, solidarity and abundance in the city alive. Ashura was distributed to thousands of citizens at the stands set up in Friday Market.
Intense Interest in the Marketplace
The traditional Ashura distribution event was attended by Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik, Deputy Mayor Haydar Uyar and Mayor's Advisor Faruk Konukçu. Taking care of the citizens closely, Mayor Özçelik shared the spirit of unity and solidarity of the month of Muharram with the residents of the city. Citizens expressed their satisfaction with the treats and expressed their gratitude to the municipality.
