Difficult Plateau Roads of Alanya People Are Finally Opening
Alanya Municipality teams ensure safe transportation by clearing snow in Söbüçimen, Eğrigöl and Türkler regions before the summer.
Alanya Municipality Directorate of Technical Works teams are continuing a comprehensive work to ensure uninterrupted transportation on the plateau roads as the summer months approach. The snow masses left over from the winter months, reaching meters high in some places, are cleared by work machines and the roads are opened. This intensive work carried out by the field personnel of the municipality under the administration of Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik aims to prevent the people of the region from experiencing any victimization during the summer migration.
Intensive Snow Clearing in Difficult Conditions
The studies were especially concentrated in the plateaus of Söbüçimen, Eğrigöl and Türkler. The teams not only clean the snow, but also carry out maintenance and repair work on the routes damaged by the melting of the snow. These activities, which are carried out uninterruptedly despite the difficult terrain conditions, maximize road safety for citizens who head to cooler regions as the hot weather increases.
A Vital Step for Yoruk Culture and Local Economy
Keeping this transportation network open is more than just a road opening work, it is of great importance for Alanya. These works, which directly benefit the centuries-old plateau tradition and the economy of local producers engaged in animal husbandry, offer the opportunity for safe migration. Thanks to the early and safe opening of the roads, plateau tourism is revived and commercial activities continue uninterrupted.
