Alanya Municipality Police Department teams continue their inspections to prevent environmental pollution throughout the city.

A Criminal Complaint Was Made Against Those Responsible

During the field investigations carried out by the teams, it was determined that the wastewater of some villas in Sugözü and Bektaş neighborhoods was discharged into the bed of Hacet Stream in violation of the legislation. Necessary penal actions were taken by the authorities upon the detected violations.

Judicial Step Within the Scope of the Turkish Penal Code

A criminal complaint was filed with the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office against those responsible for the act of intentional pollution of the environment, in accordance with Article 181 of the Turkish Penal Code. It was emphasized that inspections for the protection of natural resources will continue with determination.
