LÖSEV Warned Against Scammers in Mahmutlar

Representatives of the Health and Education Foundation for Children with Leukemia visited the Mahmutlar Neighborhood Headman's Office and informed the authorities about the work carried out for children with leukemia and their families. During the visit, which took place within the scope of awareness activities carried out throughout Alanya, attention was drawn to the abuses committed on behalf of the institution.

As part of the meeting, it was stated that citizens should be extremely careful against fraudsters who collect donations on behalf of the foundation with fake identities and receipts. It was emphasized that fake accounts requesting help using the name of the foundation on the internet and social media platforms should not be respected.

Receiving the delegation during the visit, Mahmutlar Neighborhood Mukhtar's Office Member Kutsal Gencay stated that the information provided was valuable for public health and safety.
