During the ongoing pavement renewal activities following the completed asphalt works on Atatürk Street, the attempt of a tradesman who disregarded the rules was immediately blocked. Police teams prepared a report about this violation of rules, which damaged public property and spoiled the general aesthetics. While the matter was referred to the municipal council, the workplace in question was sealed indefinitely following the notification. The tiles that occupied the public area without permission were removed under the supervision of the police teams before they dried, and the area was restored to its former state. While this rapid intervention was of great importance in terms of ensuring public order in the city and protecting infrastructure investments, it also revealed that no privileges would be given to any business.

Making a statement on the issue after the incident, Alanya Mayor Osman Tarık Özçelik emphasized that infrastructure and superstructure investments are critical for the future of the city. Mayor Özçelik stated that it is everyone's common responsibility to protect urban aesthetics and public order and said, "Our teams have carried out the necessary intervention against the business that covered unauthorized tiles on the newly built pavements. Our inspections will continue with determination to protect our common living spaces and maintain an orderly and modern city appearance." He said.
