Yeşilöz Residents' Twenty-Year Suffering Is Over
Alanya Municipality put an end to the transportation problem in the region by covering the 5-kilometer road, which has been awaited for 20 years, with surface asphalt in Yeşilöz District.
Alanya Municipality Directorate of Technical Affairs has completed the 5-kilometer road in Yeşilöz District with modern asphalt within the scope of its transportation campaign throughout the city. The route, starting from Mut Creek Street and extending to Mine Ocağı, has been transformed into a comfortable structure with the surface coating works carried out.
Infrastructure Strengthened, Asphalt Paved
Municipal teams prioritize infrastructure deficiencies to ensure the longevity of the road; In cooperation with ASAT, the irrigation and transmission systems were completed in March and the ground was ready. Following the preparations, approximately 7-8 kilometers of line, including connection roads, was completely renewed with three days of intensive work. Expressing his satisfaction with the work done, Yeşilöz Neighborhood Member Mehmet Sevilgen stated that no work of this scope has been carried out in the region for about 15-20 years, and noted that the road, which has been managed with patches for years, has become comfortable and there is no transportation problem.
Rural Roads Will Also Come
Stating that transportation investments will not only be limited to the main route, Aza Sevilgen stated that the asphalting work will begin in a short time on the additional line of approximately 350-500 meters in the village.
