Coast Guard teams, continuing their inspection activities on the Alanya coastline, detected a suspicious package washed ashore on the Keşefli Neighborhood beach. In the initial investigations carried out in the area surrounded by security, it was understood that the contents of the package were drugs.

Million Dollar Poison Seized

During detailed checks, it was determined that there were 40 kilograms of paste marijuana in the package. It was announced that the market value of the seized drugs was approximately 40,000,000 TL. With this successful operation, a large amount of poison, which was trying to leak into the society via Alanya beaches, was prevented before it reached the streets.

Security Forces are on alert

Following the incident, a large-scale investigation was launched by Alanya Coast Guard Station Command teams. Security units in the region emphasized that inspections will continue uninterruptedly against such attempts to disrupt public order and peace. Surveillance and patrol activities along the coastline have been increased to the highest level, especially against drug traffic carried out through the Mediterranean.
