A Heavy Blow to a Criminal Organization in Antalya

Antalya Provincial Security Directorate Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch Directorate teams carried out a comprehensive operation against armed criminal organizations operating throughout the province. As a result of intelligence studies and technical follow-ups, four suspects who planned and actually carried out the shooting action against a workplace in Muratpaşa district were identified.

Unlicensed Weapons Seized

During the simultaneous raids carried out at the specified addresses, four suspicious persons were caught. During the detailed searches carried out by the teams on the suspects, their vehicles and residences, two unlicensed pistols and magazines belonging to these weapons, which were considered to have been used in the incidents, were seized. While the criminal elements were confiscated, the suspects were taken to the police station for questioning.

Suspects sent to prison

After the completion of the statement procedures at the police station, the people were referred to the courthouse and brought before the judge. In the light of the evidence collected, the court decided to arrest all suspects and send them to prison on the charge of "Establishing an Organization for the Purpose of Committing a Crime". Provincial Security Directorate officials emphasized that the fight against crime and criminals will be continued with determination with the authority given by the law.
