Thousands of People Interrogated, Hundreds Arrested

A total of 200 thousand 16 people were questioned as part of the operations. As a result of detailed investigations, a total of 1,811 people were detained, including 562 people wanted for various crimes. 233 of the suspects, who were referred to the judicial authorities after their procedures at the police station, were arrested and sent to prison. Additionally, administrative fines were imposed on 327 people who violated the Misdemeanor Law.

Vehicles and Businesses Are Under Strict Control

In the work carried out jointly by the traffic and public order teams, 44 thousand 881 cars and motorcycles were examined one by one. 35 vehicles that were determined to be stolen, impounded or seized were seized. Inspections were not limited to the streets; 134 temporary accommodation centers and 75 car rental companies were meticulously inspected. While action was taken against 19 people in 4 different incidents that provided places for gambling, administrative sanctions were imposed on two businesses that did not comply with the rules. During the large-scale searches, 25 firearms, 196 cartridges and 3 cutting tools were seized and kept under safekeeping.
