Huge Blow to Smuggling in Alanya and Other Districts

Antalya Provincial Police Department Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch teams have carried out large-scale operations within the last week within the scope of field work carried out to ensure peace and security throughout the province. Illegal activities were not allowed within the framework of the operations.

Simultaneous Raid on Workplaces, Warehouses and Residences

In line with anti-smuggling activities, an operation was organized at predetermined addresses in the districts of Muratpaşa, Aksu, Konyaaltı, Manavgat and Alanya. During the searches carried out in workplaces, warehouses and residences, many smuggled bottles of alcohol, liters of bulk alcohol, packs of smuggled cigarettes and kilograms of tobacco were seized. Judicial proceedings were initiated against the suspects who were caught for the crime of violating Law No. 5607 (Tobacco Products and Alcoholic Beverages).

Organizational Activities and Capture of Wanted Persons

Judicial action was taken against the suspicious persons identified during the operations carried out by the teams for the crime of being a Member of the FETO Armed Terrorist Organization. On the other hand, the persons caught during the detailed investigations carried out against the wanted persons in the security practices carried out were brought to justice.
