Security Shifts on the Streets of Antalya: Businesses Examined One by One
During simultaneous inspections carried out with the participation of 150 personnel throughout Antalya, penal action was taken against businesses that did not comply with the identification law.
Antalya Provincial Police Department units carried out a comprehensive inspection operation in order to establish peace and security throughout the city. In the studies organized within the framework of the Identification Law No. 1774, accommodation facilities and car rental companies were put under the spotlight. The simultaneous inspections, in which a total of 70 teams and 150 personnel participated, aimed to prevent informality.
Daily Facilities and Rental Companies were Inspected
As part of the field work, the teams meticulously checked 602 daily accommodations and 20 car rental companies operating throughout Antalya. During the inspections, whether the facilities entered data into the system and the validity of the documents were examined one by one. In the statement made by the Police Department, it was emphasized that the inspections were aimed at protecting the peace and security of the public.
Finements were imposed on businesses that violated the rules
As a result of the investigations, penal action was taken against 3 businesses that were found to not send instant data to the system. Additionally, legal action was initiated against a person for "renting an unregistered car" and an administrative fine was imposed. Antalya Police Department stated that similar inspections will continue uninterruptedly within the scope of the fight against crime and criminals.
