Many suspects were caught in smuggling operations carried out throughout the province by Antalya Police Department teams in the last week.
Operations were carried out throughout the province in the last week by Antalya Police Department units within the scope of the fight against smuggling and organized crime. As a result of the studies carried out, individuals who were found to be involved in various crimes were referred to the courthouse.
Organized Crime and Fraud Operations
During the operations carried out, individuals involved in forming an organization to commit crimes, laundering of property values resulting from crime and qualified fraud were arrested. In addition, judicial proceedings were initiated against suspected persons for violating Law No. 5607.
Simultaneous Searches in Five Districts
Searches were carried out on workplaces, warehouses and residences in Muratpaşa, Kepez, Aksu, Alanya and Manavgat districts. During the raids, many packs of smuggled cigarettes, smuggled medicines, smuggled electronic cigarettes and smuggled goods were seized. It was reported that the police units continue their anti-smuggling efforts with determination.
